- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in Institutional housekeeping preferred.
- Retains Dept of Health regulations and emergency evacuation procedures for this position.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Prepares residents’ room cleaning schedules and cleans routinely the regular services included with general admissions. Duties include vacuuming, scrubbing, dusting, etc.
- Does extra housekeeping services such as personal laundry, cupboard cleanings, trash removal, etc. for residents who purchase extra services not included in general admissions.
- Practices detailed care of cleaning equipment
- While in areas, inspects for needed repairs, safety hazards, etc and reports concerns to Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Attends in-service meetings and supervisor approved relevant seminars/workshops.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
