You’re going to be coming in to the lead the development of this platform that’s powered by AI technology and help revolutionize the way investment operations teams do their jobs. You’ll be coming in as a foundational member of the Dedham team with a chance to form your own team and build the software engineering culture within.
The founders have done this all before, so you’re not joining a business with no direction. Add to that $150m plus in initial investment and you can already start to see that this isn’t just any kind of startup. You’ll be given a huge amount of autonomy and responsibility to do things the way you like, in turn building a growing a team capable of building this platform from design to implementation.
Initially, you’ll be joining along with another mid-senior level engineer to start building. There are a number of clients onboard and they all have requirements that need to be built out. Beyond this, you’ll look to build and grow the culture and expand the team in line with client requirements and demand. You really have a great chance to forge your own path here.
You’ll be building the platform using a combination of Java, Spring Boot, Elastic Search and REDIS all on the cloud. You’ll need to come from a Java background in a senior to lead capacity and have significant experience of working with financial platforms, specifically those that deal with investment accounting.
Therefore, knowledge of things like ABOR, IBOR, LIBOR etc will make you successful.
This is a well-funded fintech firm based in the Boston area ( Dedham, MA ). You’ll be paid anywhere in the region of $140,000-180,000 salary benefits Equity. It’s a hybrid work environment, but you will have to be in the office three days a week to begin with, especially to build the culture and share ideas rapidly.
