SAPPHIRE PEDIATRICS is Hiring a Back Office Medical Assistant Near Denver, CO

As a Back Office Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to the Pediatricians to ensure efficient operation of the clinic and providing the best in patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients, collect and analyze vital signs from newborns through 18-21 years old
  • Administer vaccines
  • Phlebotomy as needed (excellent trainer on-site available)
  • Document medical history
  • Organize and schedule appointments as needed
  • Update medical records
  • Liason between Rose Hospital staff and laboratory services
  • Assist Physicians with procedures
  • High level of teamwork, may cover front office duties when not working with a provider for a day
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills Required:

  • Experience as a medical assistant, preferably Pediatrics
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems, EPIC, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness, Emotional Intelligent and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You will accrue paid time off from your date of hire and are eligible to utilize this after 60 days. We offer Medical, Dental and Vision benefits after 60 days. After 1 year of employment, we offer 401k and match up to 5% for safe harbor.

We are a smaller team and are not apart of HCA, though we share the campus. Due to this, we provide collaborative approaches to clinic processes and procedures for improvements. We are open to training and learning from each member of this team. We like to provide snacks, and holiday events and bonuses.
