DESCRIPTION:

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, including oxygen therapy and aerosol medications
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, such as oxygen saturation levels and respiratory rates
• Assist with airway management, including intubation and extubation procedures
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, such as ventilators and nebulizers
• Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate respiratory care plans

Qualifications:

• Certification or license as a Respiratory Therapist
• Knowledge of respiratory physiology and anatomy
• Proficiency in basic life support techniques
• Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics and critical care patients
