Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients/residents receive nutritious and delicious meals. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Duties:
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and portioning meals
- Serve meals to patients/residents in a timely and courteous manner
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of dining areas
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify supervisor when items need to be restocked
- Adhere to dietary restrictions and special dietary needs of patients/residents
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients/residents, families, and staff members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with the healthcare or assisted living industry is a plus
