Purpose and Objective:
Ariba Inc. seeks a CTE Senior Consultant at our Palo Alto, CA location to be responsible for assessing technical and functional issues and developing system solutions for the deployment and the ongoing support of Ariba cloud and on-premise based products and solutions. 

Expectations and Tasks: 
Support customers throughout the life cycle of the customer engagement. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME), in analyzing, designing, and understanding system architecture, functionality and customizations. Assess customer’s Ariba solutions (Sourcing, Ariba Procure-to-Pay and Ariba Network) and assist in system configuration. Provide expert functional and technical support (L2 & L3) across Ariba cloud as well as on-premise solutions. Design custom solutions for integrating Ariba with multiple customer’s ERP/legacy systems. Manage technical performance expectations. Plan and manage multiple customer projects and handle customer expectations effectively and efficiently. Detailed planning of process implementation. Define detailed blueprint for development requirements. Being an advisor to customers throughout the engagement. Lead resolution of escalations. Support system optimization and performance. Take project manager responsibility as required across one or more customer engagements.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.

Work Experience: 
Experience must involve 4 years in the following: Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Procure-to-Pay and Ariba Network; ERP Implementation using Ariba or Oracle EBS, System Integrations with SAP/Oracle and Ariba, System Configurations and Process Specific Consulting; Technical Planning, Deployment and Production Support; System Optimization, Performance and Tuning; System Upgrade, Technical Architecture, Change Management and Testing; and Data modelling, Migration Planning, Impact analysis, Integration, Reports and Orchestration. Experience must also include: Ariba Cloud On-demand.
