Santa Margarita Catholic High School is accepting applications for a Visual Arts Teacher. We are seeking someone with a background in film and Social Media Marketing.

Requirements/Qualifications: Santa Margarita Catholic High School is looking for an enthusiastic teacher to teach courses in high school Visual Arts with an emphasis in Film and Social Media Marketing. The teaching position will be responsible for developing in each student an interest in and the ability for creative expression in visual terms, using skills and techniques of artistic expression consistent with school guidelines, keeping in mind our school charism "Caritas Christi"; to develop aesthetic understandings and appreciations; to discover and develop talents of students in the field of film and Social Media Marketing. Experienced teachers are preferred.

Evaluate each student's performance and growth in knowledge and aesthetic understandings and prepare progress reports.

Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the school and/or in self-selected professional growth activities.

Participate in curriculum and other developmental programs.

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and CA Credential or Master's degree in Fine Arts preferred.
