Job Summary
Provides the highest level of Guest Service. Under Supervision, monitor and enforce the rules for
Retail department. Responsible for making change and assisting guests with questions regarding
merchandise and other Boardwalk information. Incorporates excellent customer service into daily
activities.

Required to work weekends, nights, and holidays including starting as early as 8:00 a.m. and ending at
late as 1:00am. Willingness to wear company issued uniform. May be required to wear a pager and
carry a two-way radio. Willingness to learn and work at all stations within the department. Retail Lead
Retail Sales Associates are able to work all hours assigned.
Job Tasks
•Greet every Guest and answer Guests questions and provide consistent, friendly and helpful guest
service.
• Monitor and enforce rules and regulations for each different merchandise store.
• Clean the store and ensure products are properly displayed before and during store hours.
• Organize merchandise on shelves and restock them when they become empty.
• Advise guests concerning particular products or services
• Sell and upsell to guests through recommendations.
• Make change for guests.
• Use OMRON (cash handling) and POS (point of sales) systems.
• Assist guests with merchandise questions.
• Answer guests questions in a friendly, positive and professional manner.
• Communicate to Retail Supervisor regarding any issues with merchandise product.
• Communicate with Retail Supervisor regarding any necessary repairs.
• Maintain safety and sanitation requirements.
• May be cross-trained to work in several merchandise locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
Retail Lead
• Assign and cover breaks.

• Check merchandise lay-out to ensure product is displayed properly.

Qualifications: Training and Experience
Must provide outstanding Guest Service. Prior cash handling and customer service experience is
desired.
Retail Lead must be proficient in working all merchandise stores on the Boardwalk.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Ability to understand U.S. currency and make change.
• Ability to use OMRON and POS systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees in a positive and professional
manner.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to learn to handle difficult customer service situations.
• Ability to follow safety practices and be safety conscious.

Physical Requirements
• Able to stand and work for up to 7 and a half hours at a time.
• Bi-manual dexterity.
• Able to move equipment including pushing, pulling, stooping and shoving.
• Able to work in a noisy environment and may work under black lights with theater smoke.
• Able to use arms and legs to operate equipment and to climb stairs.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds from ground to waist height occasionally.
