SanStone Health & Rehabilitation is Hiring an Activity Assistant (Weekends) Near Hendersonville, NC
Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality patient care. The position is every Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Activity Director in leading individual and group activities as assigned
- Assist the Activity Director in completing, planning and organizing activities
- Set-up for activities including the purchase and organization of required supplies for each activity.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the activity room and other areas where activities are held
- Prep and independently lead discussion, crafts, social groups and active group games
- Complete required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements
Qualifications:
- Ability to understand and follow written or verbal instructions
- Creativity necessary to manage recreational and craft activities
- Ability to generate enthusiasm and communicate effectively
- Must have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
