THIS IS AN ONSITE WORK POSITION

Position: Sr. Java Architect

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience

Mandatory Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Experience as an Applications Architect on successful, enterprise level information technology projects.
2. Model and apply software engineering methods and techniques to the design,definition, development, evaluation, integration, and/or support IT Solutions
3. Work independently or cooperatively with other software developers.
4. Function as a technical consultant or researcher
5. Perform analysis and troubleshooting of system defects and issues
6. Experience with business analysis to gather and document requirements
7. Experience creating test plans, test cases, and performance testing
8. Ability to code according to specifications with minimal defects
9. Use defined procedures to configure, test and debug software
10. Experience designing quality control test procedures
11. Use defined procedures to configure, test and debug software
12. Investigates, analyzes and resolves problems on software products
13. Handle portions of projects with minimal supervision which may include solution evaluation, data analysis, first draft written communications and client interactions
14. Gathers and evaluates client capabilities and needs.
15. Assist with technology solution architecture design and installation
16. Experience in programming to adhere to ADA compliance in web applications
17. Accountable for expertise in all phases of projects
18. Experience in automating data sharing processes
19. Experience in delivering assignments in the agreed schedule, to the correct technical specification, and within the approved budget
20. Excellent oral and written communication skills
21. Ability to code in the following environments and/or using the tools:
    JBOSS EAP 7.0 and higher
    Java 1.8 or higher
    J2EE (JSP, EJB, JPA)
    Component Based Frameworks (JSF, Wicket, )
    Spring FrameworkAOP (Aspect Oriented Programming)

    MS-SQL Server 2012 or higher
    SQL Stored procedures, triggers, views, etc.)

    XML data exchanges (including xml schemas, XSLT, XSD)
    XML parsers (including extensive use of SAX/DOM/STAX parsers and XPath)

    CSS

Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
• National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) standard
• Experience with Junit
• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks (Angular)
• Experience with MS-Project
• Experience with MS-Visio
• Experience with Eclipse (IDE)
• Experience with PrimeFaces
• Experience with JasperReports
• Experience with Alfresco
