The Material Handler II is part of the Supply Chain Department at Ridgefield, NJ.
This role is responsible for :
Ships, receives, stores and distributes materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Records movement of incoming and outgoing materials and verifies the accuracy of work performed.
Uses business system for raw material and non-stock receipts.
Contacts Buyer / Planner to resolve discrepancies.
Enters cycle count results.
Executes final shipment confirmation of customer orders.
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT).
Demonstrated ability in the application of the requisite skills to perform the required tasks of the position following established practices and procedures.
Receives general instructions on routine assignments and works under supervision.
Receives detailed instructions on new work, which is closely supervised and reviewed.
It is required that individuals care for their own safety and wellbeing.
Individuals must promote a safe working environment for employees and contractors working in their area of responsibility.
The individual must support all Sanofi and site HSE policies as well as ensure that work performed is compliant with local HSE regulations.
Individuals must complete all required HSE trainings.
Individuals must ensure timely closure of HSE actions owned by their departments.
Educational Qualification
High School Diploma or GED
Basic Qualifications
Forklift (Power Industrial Trucks) experience 3 years
Valid Driver's License (Able to drive 26ft Reefer truck)
English language (Speak and Write)
GMP and GXP experience
Team worker
Preferred Qualifications
Computer skills (Word, and Excel)
Athena (SAP) 3 years
Pharmaceuticals Warehouse experience 3 years
Shipping and Receiving experience 3 years
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work flexibility (Off shift Hours)
