Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory accuracy and associated records. People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, cross training and mentoring employees and resolving problems

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Report inventory status changes and movement (based on KPI’s)

• Supervise Warehouse Employees for execution of day to day production plans

• Maintain updated SOPs required in a formal, concise, understandable format that describes daily operational activities

• Maintain efficient flow of materials, inventory, and staging to manufacturing operations

• Responsible for fixing and root causing any inventory accuracy issue encountered by regular CC activities

• Assist in material handling activities (operations hands on)

• Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information in technical, mathematical, and diagrammatic and database application forms.

• Advanced PC (windows) skills, expanded abilities in use of spreadsheet & database applications preferred, specifically, Microsoft Excel (Pivots, Charts, Data Comparison formulas, etc…)

• Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s (reporting and deployment of new metrics)

• Detail oriented self-starter, able to work in a very fast-paced & dynamic environment

• Ability to accomplish daily task with minimal supervision

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand up activities through the entire shift

• Std warehouse equipment experience (forklift, Joe’s, electrical/manual pallet jacks)

• Ability to troubleshoot basic system failures and hardware (WMS guns, scanners, tablets, label printers)

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree or 5 years of relevant warehouse experience (receiving, shipping, kitting, staging), including 2 year of previous supervisory experience (15 direct reports), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Excellent Oracle 11i / WMS (or similar ERPs), MS-Office and MRP knowledge is required (Oracle Netsuite is a plus)

• Ideal candidates must have strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range(annual): $62,000 - $83,000
