Production Specialist

SMT Group Lead

Sanmina Corp, a world-wide leader in the EMS industry, has an immediate opening for a Lead in the Prep/PC Department on 1st Shift in its Pleasant Prairie facility, conveniently located right off I-94 near the Kenosha and Lake County, IL border! Qualified candidates will be knowledgeable in SMT Technology and Assembly . This is a hands on position requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:​

• To direct; coordinate and schedule the manufacturing process in the area.
• Monitor and control production goals and efficiencies! 
• Work closely with Management and Scheduling Department
• Maintain exceptional quality standards.
• Will discuss other responsibilities at interview.

 These are the primary responsibilities of the position – however, the qualified applicant may be asked to perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor for production necessity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• SMT experience.
• Previous leadership skills preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to direct and train employees.
• Responsible, organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to motivate others.
• Problem solving ability.
• Excellent attendance-must be able to work all overtime.
• 4-6 years of related experience.
• High School or GED.
