QUALITY ENGINEER
Job Purpose:
The Quality Engineer will play a key role in the Quality organization of the team that makes some of the most complex and mission critical PCBs solutions on the planet. The Quality Engineer will work closely with the Quality Assurance and Operations teamand focus on Quality Management Systems Engineering.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinates and manages the Internal Audit Program from planning and reviewing Audit Trail documents all the way through assigning Corrective and Preventive Actions.
Coordinates and supports external assessments of the facility by working closely together with our customers and auditors.
Works with Quality Assurance Teamto support Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and teams, including Corrective & Preventive Action responses and system management. This entails data analysis, reporting and responding to trends and issues in the production line.
Oversees site training program for IPC-A 600 and other IPC certifications as required. Supports training and certification of employees to maintain current IPC certification at all required levels.
Oversees site compliance to all regulatory standards including ISO 9001:2015, AS9100 Rev D, MIL-PRF-31032 with correlating reports.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Chemical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years working experience in a related role, preferably in the PCB industry.
Good analytical skills on top of good written and oral communication skills
Requires the ability / experience to perform engineering related tasks and document results with limited guidance.
Salary Range (annual): $78,000-$92,000
