Quality Analyst

Job Purpose:

This position supports overseeing compliance to company standards by maintaining the Internal Audit Process. 

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain the division procedure and form master lists with all the latest revisions and document links.
• Prepares audit schedules with the audit team, conducts audits and reports all findings to management.
• Analyzes programs for improvement opportunities.
• Makes recommendations that may result in change to process/procedure.
• Has some discretion as to what changes are made.
• Issues corrective action to non-compliant departments.
• Issues corrective actions and makes recommendations on process/procedural changes.
• Trains other personnel on quality standards. Interacts with all levels/functions; external auditors; customers.
• Work may focus on plant, division or global level. Senior level has responsibility for helping to define and document corporate and facility quality requirements.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 years experience in a Quality Analyst/Auditor role.
• Bachelor's degree
• Candidates must be knowledgeable in the latest versions of ISO 9000 and TL 9000 international standards and AS9100.
• Must have been involved in writing departmental procedures to support these standards.
• Candidate must also be a trained internal auditor.
• Must be able to execute the internal audit schedule set forth by the Quality Manager including preparing the audit reports and initiating corrective actions to resolve any non-conformances observed during the audits.
• Must have good communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
