Job Title: Planning Engineering Technician

Job Purpose:

The Planning Technician supports engineering activities such as design, modification and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

• Plan jobs using InPlan and InStack applications to create production travelers for a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing plan
• Complete controlled impedance stack-ups, instruct CAM operators on all tooling requirements, answer technical questions from other departments, as well as, effectively communicate with customers.
• Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review on customer designs.
• Perform spec-review and spec-summary on all customer documents and/or industry standards.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred engineering degree or associate's degree in engineering with 2 years equivalent design systems experience.
• Experience in planning, product engineering, and tooling in a PCB manufacturing environment required.
• Familiarity with standard manufacturing design rules, blueprints, customer specifications and industry standards such as IPC.
• Experience using a CAD/CAM system is helpful
• Good written and verbal customer communication skills.

Salary Range(annual): $64,000.00-$75,900.00
