Firmware Engineer 2

Duties of Position:
The person should perform the following in his role:
 Programming/ coding - Contributes in programming and coding as per the detailed design specification provided
 Involves in board bring up, testing and report generation
 Unit test execution and test report generation - Executes unit test cases and scripts with minimum supervision and generates test reports
 Defect tracking and analysis - Analyzes test results to identify code/ script defects and reports the same
 Defect fixing - if any defect is detected and reported, works on defect fixing ensuring manager/senior is updated of the same
 S/W Integration testing and test report - works towards software integration testing and generates the test reports
 Configuration Management: Should have working experience with tools like Bitbucket/Git, JIRA etc
 Strong Communication skills with ability to communicate to the customer independently
 Strong team player
Qualifications Required: 
B.E/M.E. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and 3-5 years of experience with the below skill set:
 Candidate should have good programming knowledge in Linux kernel, Embedded Linux and Linux driver development on Intel X86.
 Strong debugging skills, working with new/existing, complex code base
 Hands on experience in Linux Socket programming and IPC
 Hands on experience in the Programming language: C, C , Shell Script and Python
 Hands on experience on SOC: AST2500, PILOT-III
 Hands on experience in ThreadX RTOS
 Good knowledge in the protocols: I2C, SPI, GPIO, SMASH, Redfish.
