Position Title: TOCNET Field Support Technician

Job Purpose:

The SCI team is currently hiring for a (TOCNET) Field Support Technician. The Field Support Technician will assist customers with developing system solutions and resolving installation and other technical issues for SCI family of products (mainly TOCNET). The candidate selected for this position will provide customer support in defining software requirements and assisting in the selection of tool suites to meet customer needs. The selected candidate will also support customer demonstrations and performs on-site analysis of integration issues. The Field Support Technician will have direct input to the future design and roadmap requirements for SCI’s family of products.

The ideal candidate will have a background in the Military with hands on experience with TOCNET product. Also experience with Electronics and/or Computer Science, have a proactive disposition, exhibit excellent communication and customer interaction skills and be willing to travel to support new and existing customers.

Nature of Duties:

• Provide telephone, email and/or on-site integration and troubleshooting support.
• Provide on-site and in-house training for various end users
• Support pre-sales activities by reviewing customer requirements, system architecture and use cases
• Understand and learn solutions to complement customer requirements and operational vignettes
• Support the design of cable assemblies, adapters, wire harnesses, and/or interfaces for integrating user handsets, headsets and other I/O components into customer architectures
• Document hardware and software enhancements to product.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences and expositions with senior team tp represent products
• TOCNET support and OEM product training for Users/Customers
• Design and fabrication of prototype assemblies and cables
• Bailment inventory management and asset sustainment
• Online Product Technical support for Customer Base and Request for Information (RFI)
• Tradeshow and demonstration events throughout the year
• Software release notes couple with technical manual reviews and updates
• Product integrations and installment activities across all platforms

Education/Experience:

• Associate's Degree or 2-year Technical Degree
• 1-2 years related experience
• Experience in advanced networking
• Demonstrate an understanding of installing and troubleshooting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) networks.
• Excellent written & verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including creating, reading and interpreting to presenting technical documents and designs. 
• Demonstrate an understanding of various input/output devices, to include headsets, microphones and push to talk interfaces.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing travel schedules and priorities.
• US citizenship.
