Up to $2500.00 Sign On Bonus

Sanimax is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 2nd or 3rd Shift.

Key Responsibilities & duties :

troubleshooting and repair of mechanical functions, mechanical drive units, industrial hydraulic and pneumatic powers, plumbing architectures, AC and DC circuits, electrical sensors and switches, motor controls and VFD controllers safety circuits which include E-stops, safety relays and safety switches.

PC knowledge for upgrading troubleshooting and machine functions via touch screen controls and machine operation software

• Knowledge and use of hand tools and machine shop equipment
• Evaluate equipment for any repairs, enhancements, or upgrades and complete work as needed.
• Machine implementation including, rigging, leveling, facilities along with testing and modifying as needed to prepare machines for production.
• Practice safe work habits. Follow proper lock out tag out procedures as required.
• Participates in daily meetings and reports maintenance department objectives and opportunities.
• Installing / rebuilding equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems.
• Independently performs all assignments after being given general instructions as to the results expected.
• Takes the lead and initiates resolution of technical, unusual or complex problems or issues.
• Ability to interact with other employees in a positive manner and promote a cooperative working environment.
• Coordinates several projects at the same time while prioritizing competing demands on time frames.
• General understanding of electric and electrical controls
• Open to working up to 12 hour shifts plus willingness and flexibility to respond to after hour emergency needs

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machines.
• Able to use diagnostic equipment, including manufacturers’ service specifications.
