Pay Info: Rate of pay for non-certified techs will start at $21.50/hour and certified techs will start at $22.50/hour. Rate is based on years of applicable work experience

Department Details

At Sanford Medical Center of Fargo, we are a 16 bed OR on two floors providing care for adult and pediatric surgical patients.

We support surgical cases within a wide range of surgical specialties including: general surgery, trauma surgery, bariatrics, urology, gynecology, robotics, cardiovascular, plastics, ear-nose-throat, oral surgery, pediatric, neuro, peripheral vascular and pediatric and adult orthopedic trauma.

Job Summary

What you will do:

Provide assistance to the surgeon during surgical procedures, including preparing and organizing operating room instruments and supplies.

Anticipate the surgeons needs during a procedure.

Qualifications

Position requirements:

• A graduate of a Surgical Technology program.
• National certification preferred.
• Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at the time employment begins.
