Job Summary

Develop and lead a portfolio of innovative and technology-enabled population health focused initiatives with the ability to lead integrated efforts across the Sanford Health system. Role must establish dashboards and metrics to monitor and manage resource utilization within the clinical setting. Will lead efforts in collaboration with the health services divisions to implement work flows and processes that will ensure appropriate documentation of acuity for system Medicare Advantage patients and members. Will drive specific utilization driven cost containment strategies, leading efforts that work with clinical leaders and clinicians within the clinic setting.

Will assist in overall MA medical economics and lead efforts in sharing key insights with leadership and provider groups focused on medical utilization. Will be responsible for evaluating the landscape of clinical transformation (volume to value), accountable care organizations, quality measurement and reporting, and developing tactics to assist system leadership (HSD and SHP) in process improvement focused on health outcomes and cost containment strategies.

Must exhibit the ability to lead collaborative teams with a proven ability to build strong relationships. Must be a successful leader who can effectively interact with diverse groups of stakeholders, including physicians, health care administration, other payers and provider groups, and clinical staff. Capable of successfully building partnerships between physicians and administration. Must have data interpretation and translation skills. Will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators including member health outcomes and quality along with medical spend and ROI.

Demonstrates exceptional presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills with ability to develop compelling messaging for diverse audiences. Displays a learning mindset and is ready to promote new ideas. When needed, acts as a hands-on project leader that can shift between strategy and execution. Able to manage external vendors, vet opportunities and connect opportunities with strategic needs and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field required.

Five or more year’s related experience. Must have experience in government programs, specifically ACO or Medicare Advantage operations.

Proven track record of developing effective partnerships across disparate groups, ability to influence senior leaders. Experience in strategic planning and strong business acumen preferred.
