Job Title: International Finance Specialist

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Specialist to join our team and support critical financial operations, including M&A financing, line of credits increase, bank relations, and funds raising.

Role Overview: As a Finance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing various financial aspects of our organization. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing our financial position, securing appropriate funding, and enhancing our capabilities for growth and expansion. You will work closely with the finance team, executives, and external stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that align with our corporate objectives.

  • The position is based at Sanford Federal's office located at 525 Corporate Drive, Suite 203, Stafford, VA 22554 / In person.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Stafford, VA 22554: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • FDA regulations: minimum 1 year (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

M&A Financing:

  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Evaluate target companies' financial health, performance, and risk exposure.
  • Collaborate with legal and business development teams in structuring and negotiating M&A deals.
  • Develop financial models and projections to assess the impact of potential acquisitions on the company's financial position.
  • Coordinate with external advisors and investment banks as needed.

Line of Credits Increase:

  • Assess the company's credit requirements and evaluate existing credit facilities.
  • Engage with financial institutions to negotiate and secure increased credit lines.
  • Monitor compliance with credit agreements and facilitate required reporting.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize the cost and terms of credit facilities.

Bank Relations:

  • Act as the primary liaison with banks and financial institutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to leverage favorable terms and financial services.
  • Collaborate with banks to explore innovative financial solutions for the company's requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and financial products to make informed decisions.

Funds Raising and Increase:

  • Develop and execute strategies to raise funds for business expansion and capital projects.
  • Analyze various fundraising options, including equity, debt, and alternative financing methods.
  • Prepare compelling business cases and presentations for potential investors and lenders.
  • Assist in investor relations activities and respond to inquiries from investors and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in M&A financing, credit facilities negotiation, and funds raising.
  • Solid understanding of financial analysis, valuation techniques, and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and relevant regulations is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
