Sanford Federal is Hiring a Quality Assurance Manager Near Bethesda, MD

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive quality assessment and improvement program within the organization.
  • Demonstrate expertise by holding the American Society of Quality (ASQ) or a similar certification.
  • Utilize at least five (5) years of post-certification relevant experience to oversee all aspects of quality assurance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Plan and execute quality audits, assessments, and reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality benchmarks, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor organizational performance.
  • Implement strategies to address identified deficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and conduct training programs to enhance the understanding of quality standards and processes across the organization.
  • Foster a culture of quality and accountability by promoting awareness and engagement at all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated certification from the American Society of Quality (ASQ) or a similar certifying body.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of post-certification relevant experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive quality assessment and improvement programs.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading quality assurance initiatives within an organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to drive quality improvement projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and delivering quality-related training programs is advantageous.
  • Commitment to staying current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
