Job Description:

As a Medical Examination Teaching Associate, you will act as a simulated patient for students to practice male genitourinary, female breast, and pelvic exams on you. You will instruct students on proper examination techniques and provide feedback on their skills. Maintaining professionalism and ensuring patient privacy are crucial.

Responsibilities:

· Act as a simulated patient and allow students to practice physical examination techniques on your person, including male genitourinary examination, female breast examination, and female pelvic examination.

· Provide detailed instruction and demonstration of proper examination techniques, procedures, and overall approach to students.

· Ensure patient privacy, proper draping, and comfort throughout the examination process.

· Provide feedback to students on their examination skills, techniques, and bedside manner.

· Participate in didactic sessions and discussions related to the examination procedures.

· Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor while working closely with students.

· Ensure adherence to specified time limits and guidelines for each examination session.

· Assist in setting up and maintaining a conducive learning environment for students.

Qualifications:

· Extensive training and experience in teaching physical examination techniques, particularly in the areas of male genitourinary, female breast, and female pelvic examinations.

· Comprehensive knowledge of anatomical structures, examination procedures, and potential findings related to the examinations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively instruct and provide feedback to students.

· Ability to maintain a comfortable and professional demeanor in sensitive situations.

· Willingness to allow physical contact and exposure necessary for teaching purposes.

· Flexibility to work with varying group sizes and adapt to different learning styles.

· Reliable transportation to the training facility and adherence to security protocols.

· Availability to work within the specified time frames and schedules.
