Job Description/Scope of Work: Sanford Federal, is seeking Workshop Facilitators to instruct and facilitate workshops by determining and identifying workshop leaders, confirming workshop location, date, and time of training workshop(s), identifying and responding to any challenges and issues, and submission of evaluation by workshop participants and leaders

Responsibilities:

• The workshops must be a minimum of 2.5 hours in duration.

• The workshops must cover methods for collecting historical narratives, biographies, first person documentation and oral histories of US veterans.

• Each workshop shall consist of a minimum of 25 to 60 volunteer participants.

• The Library will provide the Vendor with instructional materials for Vendor use in conducting workshops. At the conclusion of each workshop the Vendor must report, at a minimum, the following information to VHP:

• Total number of workshop participants

• Evaluation by Workshop Participants.

• Evaluation by Workshop Leader. Vendor shall provide their report to VHP within 2 weeks after completion of each workshop.

Requirements:

The vendor shall provide one or more of the following workshop leaders to conduct the workshops:

Tier A Workshop Leader:

The Workshop Leader must have one of the following:

• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Folklore, Oral History, or related field and with 3 years of demonstrated experience in leading Oral History workshops for diverse and/or public participation audiences.

• Degree in Folklore, Oral History, or related field and with 6 years of demonstrated experience in leading Oral History workshops for diverse and/or public participation audiences.

Tier B Workshop Leader:

The Workshop Leader must have an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Folklore, Oral History, or related field with 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in leading Oral History workshops for diverse and/or public participation audiences
