OVERVIEW

Sanford Federal, Inc. is seeking Trail Maintenance Crew Members to perform various tasks for the maintenance of the Rocky Gap ATV Trail on the Allegheny National Forest. Crew members will work under the direction of the Trail Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the trail is safe and well-maintained for users.

Responsabilités :

• Perform trail maintenance tasks such as tread maintenance, hazard tree removal, seeding, mulching, erosion control, and vegetation cutting.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment as directed by the Trail Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist with the setup and takedown of work areas, including installing signage and safety barriers.
• Monitor trail conditions and report any hazards or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members and subcontractors to accomplish project goals and objectives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in trail maintenance, landscaping, forestry, or outdoor labor preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and rugged terrain.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors and experienced crew members.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.79 - $12.37 per hour
