SANFORD FEDERAL is looking to hire qualified cleaners to perform the services in a manner that presents a neat and professional appearance and shall meet The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and clean room standards for the Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center (CSPCRPCC).
Job Details:
Job Title: Cleaning services
Locations: Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center (CSPCRPCC), 2401 Centre Avenue, SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106-4180.
Schedule: Full-Time
Provide cleaning services from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday-Friday. Additional work such as carpet and window cleaning will be performed at weekends at a time agreeable.
Technical requirements:
The cleaner must have general training on:
· General cleaning and sanitizing procedures
· Safety Procedures
· Chemical Handling
· Equipment Usage
· Waste Disposal
· Emergency Procedures
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Empty trash receptacles/replace liners as needed (all facility garbage taken to
2. dumpster)
3. Clean and disinfect light switches.
4. Disinfect door handles.
5. Dust mop tile floors.
6. Remove empty boxes.
7. Damp mop tile floors & remove scuffmarks.
8. Break down cardboard boxes and stack them for disposal in recycling bin located outside the ANNEX
9. Vacuum ALL carpeted areas and floor mats. The cleaners should ensure that vacuuming does not interrupt conference calls, meetings, or workflow. If an area is in use, the contractor will be responsible for making arrangements with the occupant to clean at another time.
10. Spot treat carpet or furniture stains on an as needed basis.
11. Clean glass/windows interior & exterior.
12. Dust mini blinds.
13. Buff (Strip as needed and wax).
14. Dust surfaces.
15. Clean glass windows in common vestibule areas.
16. Dust artwork/wall hangings.
17. Clean and disinfect all ice machine surfaces, including but not limited to ice dispenser, drain, as well as exterior surfaces. Shall be free of deposit stains, streaks, mineral build-up, debris, spots, smudges, scale, and other mineral build-ups. All metal surfaces have a uniformly bright finish.
18. Ensure cleaning products are stored neatly and appropriately; ensure all products are properly labeled; do not store products or supplies on the floor.
19. Clean faucet/mop basin/backsplash and horizontal surfaces.
20. Vacuum and damp mop following the PCC Approved Method and Procedure (AMP).
21. Clean ceiling, walls, doors, horizontal and vertical surfaces, walls, and ceiling fixtures following the PCC Approved Method and Procedure (AMP).
