Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather sufficient pre-admission data to determine the resident level of care and the ability of the facility to properly care for the resident.
• Interview potential residents and resident representatives to collect accurate data.
• Complete pre-admission and admission inquiry forms accurately.
• Ability to collect accurate data for all payer sources.
• Abilitytointeractwithdischargeplannersinanelective,efficientmanner.Abilitytoanalyzetheinformationtodetermineifthefacilitycancarefortheresident adequately.
• Follow admission, transfer, and discharge policies and procedures.
• Keep accurate records of residents’ information; keep all residents’ information confidential.
• Notify appropriate facility departments when a resident is admitted, transferred, discharged, or moves from one room to another.
• Explain the facility admission agreement and all attachments to potential and new residents and residents’ representatives
• Obtain the required signatures on all admission forms
• Participate in marketing the facility and maintaining an acceptable census level.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years experience in a skilled nursing facility or like facility preferred
• 1-2 years experience in healthcare sales
