Minimum Clearance Required

• Active DOD Top Secret Clearance

Education/Certification Raequirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Kubernetes certification (e.g., CKA) highly desired

Work Experience & Skill Requirements:

• 5 years experience working with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of networking and storage principles in Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Coding Experience highly desired.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of applications with Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes clusters.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Kubernetes performance and security.
• Automate tasks related to Kubernetes configuration and deployment.
• Stay updated on Kubernetes best practices and implement them in the environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
