Sandoval & James, PLLC, one of the largest and fastest-growing plaintiff's firms in Austin, TX, is seeking a candidate with a professional or educational background in writing to join our team. This candidate will work with multiple attorneys in the firm's pre-litigation division. This position is intended for a person that is detailed oriented and has a passion for writing.

Major Job Duties

• Reviewing case facts with a supervising attorney.
• Reviewing medical bills and records.
• Drafting persuasive, detailed demand letters for injured clients.
• Drafting other documents as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Educational background or professional background in writing.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in writing.
• Two or more years of experience as a professional writer or researcher (This experience does not have to be law-related).
• Experience working at a personal injury law firm.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
