Medical Assistant
Position Overview :
The Medical Assistant works as part of the medical office team to perform clinical and clerical duties in a clinical setting within the scope of their training.
The Medical Assistant is expected to be a part of a patient centered care team approach, assure quality, cost-effective care for the identified patient population and ensure adherence to Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc.
policies and procedures.
Job Duties :
Obtain complete medical history from patients, family history, record vital signs, prepare patient, prepare equipment and supplies and assist providers with patient exams and / or procedures.
Request medical records as indicated.

Medical Specialties : Primary care
Experience : Medical Assistant (1Year Preferred)
License / Certification : Certified Medical Assistant License (Preferred)
