Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our expansive property. This role requires leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence in housekeeping services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring they meet and exceed our service standards.
• Schedule and assign daily tasks, inspections, and deep cleaning projects to housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular room inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with established standards.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring an adequate supply of cleaning materials and linens.
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to set performance goals, monitor performance, and provide feedback to team members.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping staff.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and submit them to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, to ensure the resort's cleanliness and maintenance needs are met.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, including furniture and equipment.
• Good vision and manual dexterity for tasks such as cleaning and inspecting rooms.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
• Must be physically fit and able to climb stairs, ladders, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
• Some units are spread throughout the resort.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning techniques.
• A strong customer service orientation.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with the hospitality industry is a plus.
