The Sandbox is hiring cashiers! We are looking for someone with a fun, outgoing personality that can make our guests feel comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. We’ve created a casual environment focused on pizza, wings, and good vibes!

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience in the food industry preferred
• Knowledge of the Toast POS system is a plus
• Cash handling, multi-tasking skills are a must
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (Foodhandlers Card Required)
• Ability to work in a team environment and help colleagues as needed

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food/drink orders accurately and efficiently over the phone and in-person
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
• Assist, prepare, audit, and package take-out orders
• Operate POS terminal for taking payment for meal or drink items

Expected availability: 3-4 shifts per week

• Most shifts are evening (PM) based except for weekends where the hours are extended over most of the day
• Weekend and holiday availability is expected

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
