A growing property management firm is seeking Leasing Consultants to assist in the daily operation of our properties in Mesquite, TX.

Responsibilities of a Leasing Consultant;

• Be comfortable touring the property and presenting apartments to prospective clients in a persuasive manner.
• Evaluate clients’ requirements and financial prosperity to make personalized presentations.
• Validate application information and references.
• Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements.
• Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically.

WHAT WE REQUIRE:

• 2 years in Multifamily property management, proven track record of success
• Strong admin and communication skills.
• Takeover experience, strongly preferred.
• Ability to work Saturdays
• Valid driver’s license
• Yardi experience, strongly preferred
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test

COMPENSATION:

• $20-25/Hr. depending on role and experience.
• Monthly renewal commission and bonus opportunities

- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities
- Utilize property management software (CMMS) to track leasing activities and maintain accurate records

Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes is a plus
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 programs is beneficial
- Strong negotiation skills to secure lease agreements that meet both tenant and landlord requirements
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with prospective tenants
- Understanding of lease contracts and ability to explain terms to tenants
