Sanctuary Medicinals in Apopka, FL is looking for one Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in inventory records, and maintaining a smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This leader will oversee the smooth operation of our logistics department and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate shipments to our Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MMTC).

Responsibilities:

*Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies. *Document any damaged shipments and/or discrepancies the same day they are received, notify appropriate staff, and follow appropriate reporting protocols. *Track exact package count for deliveries and keep log records always updated. *Ensure all received packages are signed for and accompanied with a shipping confirmation and/or receipt. *Record and track all incoming and outgoing shipments using computerized systems or manual logs. *Maintain organized inventory storage areas, ensuring efficient use of space and easy access to goods. *Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records. *Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve shipment-related issues promptly. *Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently. *Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while handling and transporting goods. *Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as loading/unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness. *Collaborate with other team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes and improve overall efficiency. *Participate in training programs to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. *Complete any other projects and/or tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

*High school diploma or equivalent. *Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred. *Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and software. *Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. *Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. *Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Familiarity with basic math calculations and units of measurement. *Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required). *Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. *Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures. *Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:

*High school diploma, GED, or equivalent *1-2 years logistics, retail, or customer service experience *Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date. *Familiarity with the cannabis industry
