Store Manager at Chomp Chomp Fast Casual Restaurant, Danbury Fair Mall
Position: Store Manager
Location: Danbury Fair Mall, Danbury, CT
Description: Chomp Chomp, a vibrant fast-casual restaurant specializing in delectable burgers and pastrami sandwiches, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our team at Danbury Fair Mall. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales and profit planning, team management, product quality, training, and development.
Store Operations:
Develop and execute sales and profit plans in alignment with budgetary goals, ensuring the profitability of the store by growing sales and controlling costs.
Utilize financial reporting tools to monitor daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual performance.
Ensure proper team member coverage and scheduling while maintaining target labor costs.
Oversee cash and media management functions, including POS duties and opening/closing procedures.
Maintain proper loss prevention standards, including cash handling procedures and safe procedures.
Ensure a clean, well-merchandised store following visual presentation plans and standards.
Plan, execute, and communicate all sales promotions and new product information effectively.
Product Quality:
Ensure adherence to Company recipes and procedures to maintain the highest quality and consistent product standards.
Maintain the highest quality of all Company food offerings.
Educate team members on products and services, conducting tastings for quality assurance.
Training & Development:
Provide ongoing training and development in operating standards, customer service, and product knowledge.
Foster a positive work environment where team members' input is encouraged and valued.
Establish specific performance objectives and measure team member performance regularly.
Coach and counsel team members for improved performance, documenting developmental plans as necessary.
Ensure team members are properly trained to perform their roles efficiently.
Qualifications:
College education preferred; 2 years of food chain store experience required.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to adjust vision to both day and night lighting and focus on distant and close-range projects.
Must be able to handle food, beverages, and work with sharp objects.
Previous experience handling burgers and pastrami preferred.
Must have food handlers license
