Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants MUST meet the proficiency requirement in any one of the following ways :

• Complete 48 semester or 72 quarter college units (SEE NOTE BELOW)
• Hold an AA or higher degree (SEE NOTE BELOW)
• Pass the CBEST
• Pass the District's "No Child Left Behind" test

PLEASE NOTE : If you have completed college or university coursework in an institution in a country other than the United States, you MUST obtain a FOREIGN TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION.

Comments and Other Information

Fingerprint & TB Clearance will be required. Paperwork for fingerprinting will be provided upon hire.

Hours and days will vary. Assignments will included special day class and 1 : 1 paras working with mild / mod or intensive disabled students preschool thru age 22.
