Our organization is looking for a qualified Optician to join our team, to help fit patients with new frames or contact lenses, and provide them with advice about eye health. Candidates will also be providing customers with aftercare support and information about new products.

Responsibilities:

  • Adjust vision correction according to patients' needs and preferences.
  • Review insurance information and determine which vision correction services are covered.
  • Help patients choose the correct frames for their face, personality, and lifestyle.
  • Calculate the price of new glasses based on a patient's prescription and eyewear selection.
  • Use instruments such as lensometers and optical spectrum analyzers to check for defects in eyewear.
  • Use hand tools such as drills to cut lenses precisely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
