Opening for a full-time (4/ days week) DA position starting immediately. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, friendly and outgoing personality who can provide exceptional customer service and grow with our office over the years. New graduates from dental assisting programs or high school are encouraged to apply, we will train you!

If you have NO EXPERIENCE with dental assisting, but WANT TO BECOME A DENTAL ASSISTANT in order to have a career, we will train you! some experience with childcare or healthcare experience is preferred.

This position will be for 4 days a week, with Fridays off.

You must be willing to do a working interview.

Salary is based on experience and credentials, but there is plenty of room for growth and skill development in this position. We are looking for exceptional candidates who are willing to learn and put the effort to succeed in our private practice setting.

Requirements:

- MUST LIVE WITHIN A 30 MINUTE COMMUTE of the 92078 zip code and have your own transportation to work

- MUST BE ABLE TO MAKE OUR OFFICE HOURS OF 6:45am-3:30PM and 7:45AM-4:30PM with half hour lunch

- Must have good computer skills

- Must have excellent customer service skills and english language communication skills

- Must comply with current CDC and OSHA guidelines with respect to patient safety as well as Covid Vaccination

- Must have xray and coronal polishing certification from a dental assisting program, or be willing to take a course in coronal polishing and xray certification (PDE Excelle College) within 1 month of hiring at your expense.

Duties include but not limited to:

-Back office duties, dental prophylaxis, sealants, X-rays, charting, etc.

-Assisting with pediatric dental treatment, including use of N20 and treatment under GA

-Sterilization and processing instruments
