About the position:

Applications for Lower School Teaching positions are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 school year for grades 3rd-5th.

Requirements

• Teach full day
• Serve as a role model for students
• Observe policies, procedures, and directives from school administration
• Integrate technology into curriculum delivery
• Implement effective classroom and behavior management skills
• Keep student management system up-to-date with grades and lesson plans (Blackbaud Education Management)
• Manage support materials (curriculum manipulatives and technology devices) used throughout the year
• Work collegially with others
• Incorporate best practices into classroom instructional strategies
• Come to class/work each day with materials and plans fully prepared for the day
• Employ school-wide adopted curriculum as directed by the school administration
• Embrace school-wide initiatives for student growth and spiritual development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Teaching certification (Texas certification preferred)
• Possess basic computer skills
• Winsome attitude
• Teachable spirit
• Additional qualifications may be required for specific positions

Compensation:

Based upon SMA pay scale and commensurate with experience.
