About the Employer
San Luis Coastal Unified School District represents the communities of Avila, Edna Valley, Los Osos, Morro Bay, and San Luis Obispo and currently has an enrollment of approximately 7,500 students. Small neighborhood schools are a hallmark of the District where students are educated from preschool through twelfth grade and a world-class adult school program offers unique, life-improving courses to thousands of community members.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Copy of Transcript (unofficial is fine for application)
• Credential Copy (screenshot of CTC webpage or copy of out-of-state credential)
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (at least two (2) no more than 24 months old)
• Resume

Comments and Other Information
Must possess, or be eligible for, a California credential authorizing instruction to students with mild to moderate support needs. If you are from out of state, please attach a copy of your out-of-state credential. An English Learner authorization is required. Candidates without the English Learner authorization will be required to complete an application for an emergency CLAD certificate upon hire.

The $5000 signing bonus will be paid out $1250 with first pay warrant of the 24-25 school year, $1250 with the first pay warrant of the 25-26 school year and $2500 with the first pay warrant of the 26-27 school year.
