Assistant Golf Professional
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Golf Operations
Reports to: Director of Golf
General Purpose: The Assistant position will be responsible for helping grow the overall business at the club. The Assistant Golf Professional Duties shall include but are not limited to supervising outside service staff, assist with tournament operations, assist with golf instruction, help with merchandising and ordering, assisting with club events and growing the membership base along with player development programs. Essential Duties:
Minimum Requirements
High school education; or up to one year of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Previous experience at a Golf Club, Country Club or Golf Retail Environment.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, talks, and hears. Frequently use of hands. Regularly reaches with arms and hands. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches. Frequently lifts to 50 pounds. The noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
Active PGA Member or Level 1 or higher PGA Associate in good standing working towards full membership
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
