San José Unified School District is Hiring a Manager, Communications Near San Jose, CA

The impact you will have: The Communications and Engagement team works with all schools and at the district level to provide clear communications to students, families, and employees. We also provide resources and supports to encourage families to engage with their children’s school.

The Manager of Communications supports the planning, development, and implementation of communication initiatives to connect the community to San José Unified, encourage parent involvement, and share information.

Areas of focus:

  • district and school websites
  • manage program analysts who assist with communications
  • manage vendor partnerships for communication applications
  • develop social media strategy and oversee execution
  • develop media strategy and oversee execution
