San José Unified School District is Hiring a Maintenance Near San Jose, CA
Salary: $33.42 an hour
The impact you will have: The Maintenance worker performs a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair duties, which will vary based on assigned role and may include automotive, carpentry, electrical, low-voltage, glazing, HVAC-R, painting, and/or plumbing services to ensure facilities, vehicles, and/or equipment are safe and support an enriching educational environment for our students, staff, and community. The Maintenance worker applies best practices to complete repairs safely, on- time, with a customer service mindset, and in alignment with San José Unified standards and procedures. Who you are: You are able to communicate effectively and build positive relationships. You have prior experience performing skilled or semi-skilled maintenance work related to electrical and low-voltage services.
What you need for this position:
- Completion of 12th grade or equivalent
- California driver's license
- Forklift certification
- Resume and Letter of introduction outlining desire and qualifications for this position
