Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all SQF and FDA regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage projects.

Duties:

- Conduct quality audits to assess compliance with SQF and FDA regulations and internal quality standards

- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures, write programs.

- Perform regular inspections of products, materials, and equipment to identify any defects or deviations from quality standards

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions

- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement in quality control processes

- Assist in the development and maintenance of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plans

- Ensure that all documentation related to quality assurance is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible

- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures and best practices

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment

- Strong knowledge of SQF, acidified foods, preserved foods, acid foods, USDA and FDA regulations and quality control principles

- Familiarity with HACCP principles and implementation

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation based on experience.

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
