Wonderful family in Carlsbad desires Full-Time Nanny for their 2 kids 4.5 and 5.5 years old
Family in Carlsbad is looking for a fun and active Nanny to help with their 2 kids before and after school. Ages are 4.5 and 5.5. Help with after morning breakfast and take them to school, then pick up after school, take to sports/activities, help with homework, fun events, play time, parks, etc. At least 4 Years Experience as a Nanny Preferred. Degree in Childcare or related field a plus. Preference is given to applicants that have long term nanny experience with families.
The ideal candidate is sweet, caring, and proactive and understands how to deal with children 3-11 years old. Fun and Active nanny that helps children with homework and tutoring, cooking together, fun activities, parks/museums, being their friend and also a strong role model for them. Someone willing to work long hours some days!
Requirements: Hours needed are Monday, Wed, Friday - 7am -9am then 2:30pm - 6:00pm - Tuesday and Thursday 7am - 6pm. Some weekends might be needed as well Sat 12-6pm optional. 40-45 Hours a week, Min Salary guaranteed $55,000 - $65,000 a year. Ok with large dogs in home.
Active Nanny Duties:

- Pay: $55,000 - $65,000 Salary can be guaranteed
- Some date nights or weekends! Open to travel with family some weekends.
- Fun and Active Nanny - Help 2 kids with drop off/pick ups to school, homework, reading, engaging with children. Take them to activities, fun events, baking food together, etc.
- Someone willing to work long hours some days and also doesnt call out sick much and is reliable is very important!
- Nanny that has worked in Preschool or Elementary schools is preferred!
- Light Meal Cooking daily for children and light housekeeping - Mostly Help with laundry for kids, dishes, tidying after kids, and sweeping. Ok with going on errands some days. Not deep cleaning or extensive cleaning.
- Ok with 2 large dogs in home
- Speaks Spanish a Plus!
- CPR Certified
- Covid Vaccination is preferred
- Background Checks will be conducted as well as 2-3 References checked
Many Preschool/Elementary care specialists function as parent educators, teaching and using proper techniques for school age kids. Understands Emotional development, Educational play, Teaching, Responsible, and a Good Role Model for children
