The Position:
Applications are currently being accepted for Instructional Assistant / Computer Science in the Business and Technology Department, located at the College of Continuing Education, North City Campus. Hours are Monday through Friday, during the day or evening hours as required by our scheduled classes. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.
Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Dean.

• Applicant should be capable of assisting with a variety of instructional projects and activities to support the Dean and Faculty.
• Applicant can work independently to research and explore various topics online and be able to use online tools and apps.
• Ability to monitor and pull enrollment data for the Dean.
• Ability to conduct outreach for the Business and Information Technology departments at campus events.
• Capable of assisting instructors as needed with business and technology classroom activities both online and in person.
• Possess a general understanding or capable of learning MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and Teams applications.
• Ability to engage with industry partners to organize business and IT related activities.
• Coordinate Alumni communication, when needed.

Pay Information:
Range 18 ($3,930.81- $5,691.12) per month based on the current Classified salary schedule. New employees will begin on Step C ($3,930.81). Step C is the maximum step placement for a new hire, and this is non-negotiable at this time. Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the CBA. This position is FLSA Non-exempt (may accrue overtime). Excellent Benefits are provided to all Contract employees with assignments greater than, or equal to, 50% (0.50 FTE) and all eligible dependents. A temporary probationary period will apply to the employee entering this assignment.
