Our business & employment litigation firm has a need for a law clerks. This position is for people who love what they do and we will mentor and train you to get to the next level, and fast. You will be dealing with simple an complex cases in both state and federal courts. This is a position that may lead to full-time career employment with various benefits; our most important one is our dedication to a work-life balance.
We are seeking someone experienced (minimum one years') with law and motion. We are seeking people who are great researchers and get the job done. Writing complaints as well as propounding to discovery are the other main tasks this position entails. , Strong research skills are critical, as well as great grammar, and a good sense of organization. Communicating with clients and responding to emails are also requirements of this position.
This position is only for persons who live in San Diego; you are welcome to work remotely or in our offices but we also require you to come in for at least 1 -3 hours every week or two; the position is also open to project workers.
We offer a collegial working environment with people who are intellectually savvy but have lovely personalities and are fun to work with and learn from; please be of that nature. We consider ourselves a university in the sense that we are constantly learning as the law and its application are always evolving. We offer an array of bonuses that can add significantly to your pay, in addition to certain benefits, even if you are part-time.
