The BH Outreach Specialist will focus on community outreach/education and event planning directed at fulfilling Behavioral Health Grant objectives working under the direction of the BH Project Manager. Primary responsibilities will focus on promoting SDAIHC Behavioral Health services to San Diego County community through actively engaging and educating the public at community events and planning grant specific community events in collaboration with SDAIHC staff. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Must have at least 1 year of experience working in outreach or public relations. Ideal candidate will have a positive attitude with demonstrated outreach, organizational, and documentation skills, who is professional yet outgoing, and functions well in both a team environment and individually in the field. Experience with the American Indian community is preferred.
