The office of the Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk is recruiting for Title Transfer Technicians II. This class is responsible for assisting subordinates with the most complex title transfers, exclusions, and exemption transactions; as well as with reappraisal calculations. Title Transfer Technicians II review and process complex change in ownerships, determine appropriate action to be taken in order to resolve inconsistencies in transfers, exclusions, and exemptions; and explain title transfer property tax laws, rules, and regulations to the staff and the general public.For a more detailed description of job duties, refer to the Title Transfer Technician II job description. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: OPTION 1Must possess two (2) years of full-time equivalent work experience as a Title Transfer Technician in a California County Assessor's office. OPTION 2Must possess three (3) years of full-time equivalent work experience interpreting and explaining California Revenue and Taxation Code regarding exclusions, exemptions or change of ownership of real property.
